ALTA participated in the First Air Connectivity Forum in Latin America
Luis Felipe de Oliveira, ALTA’s Executive Director, participated as a panelist in the First Air Connectivity Forum in Latin America organized by the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Ministry of Transport and the Municipality from Moron.
The event was held on May 8 with 4 discussion panels that addressed as main issues: the market demand and the need of mobility, infrastructure, institutional and regulatory framework, and industry growth.
Luis Felipe de Oliveira participated in a panel along with Ramiro Tagliaferro, Mayor of Moron Municipality; Ricardo Catanant, ANAC Superintendent; Arturo Barreira, President for Latin America and the Caribbean, Airbus and José Luis Penedo, Head of Political Affairs, EASA. The participants highlighted the importance of the harmonization of regulations in the aviation industry and the need to match the work of the regulatory authorities with the progress of the industry.
