ALTA Traffic Report September 2017

Miami, November 9, 2017 -The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) announced today Latin America and Caribbean airlines carried 20.1 million passengers in September, up 4.4% - or 837,375 more passengers - from the previous year. Traffic (RPK) grew 5.7% and capacity (ASK) increased 4.5%, bringing up the load factor to 82.1%, 0.9 percentage points higher than in September 2016.

Miami, October 10, 2017 -The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) announced today Latin America and Caribbean airlines carried 21.5 million passengers in August, up 5.6% - or 1,139,000 more passengers - from the previous year. Traffic (RPK) grew 8.1% and capacity (ASK) increased 7.1%, bringing up the load factor to 82.8%, 0.8 percentage points higher than in August 2016.

Traffic (RPK) grew 11.6% and capacity (ASK) increased 10.9%, bringing up the load factor to 85.4%, 0.6 percentage points higher than in July 2016.

Miami, August 08, 2017 -The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) announced today that Latin America and Caribbean airlines carried 13 million passengers in June, up 5.5% from the previous year, excluding domestic traffic in Brazil, marking the 70th consecutive month of passenger traffic growth for Latin America and Caribbean airlines.
