ALTA Traffic Report July 2017

Miami, September 14, 2017 -The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) announced today Latin America and Caribbean airlines carried 23.2 million passengers in July, up 6.1% - or 1,330,000 more passengers - from the previous year. Traffic (RPK) grew 11.6% and capacity (ASK) increased 10.9%, bringing up the load factor to 85.4%, 0.6 percentage points higher than in July 2016.
