Recognition

“Alas de América” Award was born as an initiative by ALTA to recognize a person, or private or governmental institution that has made or is making a significant contribution to the growth and continuous improvement of the airline industry in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

Nominations Open for ALTA "Alas de América" Award

ALTA's new “Alas de América” award that will be presented at the Airline Leaders Forum taking place November 19 – 21, 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Over the years, Latin America and Caribbean aviation has grown substantially to become a significant catalyst for communities of the region and beyond, creating and contributing greatly to economic growth and connectivity, transforming and reinventing the industry every day.



Those interested in submitting a nomination simply need to provide the name, title and company of the person or organization they want to nominate along with a brief description that describes the contributions or innovations the nominee has made to the Latin America and Caribbean aviation industry.
