The ICAO Regional Aviation Safety Group – Pan America, in partnership with the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association – ALTA, will be sponsoring the 1st Aviation Safety Summit focused entirely on the Pan American region. The Summit will be held on April 19 -23, 2010 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Top level international and regional safety leaders will be in attendance. All aviation related organizations and individuals are encouraged to attend this important safety summit.
The Summit will include:
A Safety Conference with top level experts and executives from ICAO, ANAC, FAA, ALTA, IATA, IFALPA, AIRBUS, BOEING, EMBRAER, TAM and GOL Airlines, among others. The Summit will not only provide specific strategies to address the top aviation safety risk areas, but will also provide an overview of the region’s safety statistics and other current RASG-PA initiatives to enhance flight safety.
- Training, panel discussions and seminars focused on mitigation strategies for the top three data-driven risk areas in the region.
- Great opportunities to network and exchange views with the leaders from the aviation industry in these areas.
