Airports & ATC Charges
The Committee identifies and takes advantage of opportunities to develop strategies for the reduction of airport charges and air navigation costs; coordinates actions to avoid unfair practices and implementation of new unjustified charges in the region; ensures that current charges are in accordance to industry policies dictated by ICAO; and develops projects to reduce costs on airport and navigation charges . Its objectives are to direct and coordinate efforts to guarantee an adequate and efficient infrastructure; and to identify possible synergies between airports operators / ANS providers and users, promoting the best practices in the provision of airport and air navigation services in quality , safety , transparency and users consultation.
